Platinum Adventures Movie Meeting for June!

The Platinum Adventures Elgin State Bank Movie Meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 13, at the Marcus Elgin Cinema (111 S. Randall Rd. in Elgin). The meeting begins at 9 a.m. This month our presentation will be from Cherie Aschenbrenner, Elderly Service Officer from the Elgin Police Department and Officer Jim Creighton from the South Elgin Police Department talking about community policing.

The Platinum Adventures Meeting is for those ages 50 or better. Membership is not required to attend, so please bring along a friend. Doors will open at 8:15 a.m. to allow the attendees time to enjoy complimentary coffee and donuts, followed by a 9 a.m. presentation and the viewing of a first run movie that is currently being shown at the theater.

We will be collecting canned goods and paper products for South Elgin Food Pantry.
We will be offering four current films this month:

  • Everything, Everything
  • The Mummy
  • Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
  • Megan Leavey

MEMBERS | $3 per person
NON-MEMBERS | $5 per person
