A History of Integrity And Service
Serving the Elgin Community for More Than 30 Years. The term "community investment" means a lot to Elgin State Bank. The June 1998 opening of the Bank's new main banking facility on Randall Road (the most visible thoroughfare in the Elgin/St. Charles area) is testament to that investment.
The construction of that facility also gave bank Chairman of the Board Mark Abate the chance to build the family bank of his dreams--one that projects a strong community image and tells customers that Elgin State Bank is serious about banking and that it's here to stay.
"Our bank is about relationships, personal relationships between you and this bank," said Abate, whose family has owned Elgin State Bank since the early 1970s.
Nearly every feature or service offered, and 100% of Elgin State Bank's staff, encourages a high level of customer/bank employee interaction, which Abate believes should be a priority in any community bank; from top management down.
Historically, Elgin State Bank has been the community leader in local business banking. Despite the bank's far-reaching national and international business relationships, it has never deviated from its mission of serving the Elgin market.
Today the Bank operates three branch locations in the city, including the Randall Road main office and facilities on North McLean Blvd., and Summit Street.
We look forward to continuing our tradition of long and mutually prosperous relationships with all of our customers, and we're committed to your community and its success!
