The Platinum Adventures Elgin State Bank Movie Meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 13, at the Marcus Elgin Cinema, located 111 S. Randall Rd. in Elgin. Meeting begins at 9 a.m. Our featured presentation will be from Sherman L. Jenkins author of “Ted Strong Jr; The Untold Story of an original Harlem Globetrotter and Negro Leagues All-Star.”

The Platinum Adventures meeting is for those ages 50 and better.

We will be collecting canned goods and paper products for: Interfaith Food Pantry

We will be offering 4 current films this month including:

·       Beautiful Boy

·       Bohemian Rhapsody

·       Hunter Killer

·       Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch

·       These Movies are subject to change

Membership is NOT required to attend, so please bring along a friend. The cost is $3.00 per person for members and $5.00 per person for non-members. Doors will open at 8:15 a.m. to allow attendees time to enjoy complimentary coffee and donuts, followed by a 9 a.m. presentation which includes our featured presentation and the viewing of a first run movie that is currently being shown at the theater.
